Mom Wife Witch is zany, clever, funny and surprisingly intelligent. The plot twists and you turn trying to catch your breath as the brilliantly illuminated and nutty characters do their crazy dance. It's actually a quite good detective novel, but that's not how I'd characterize it. How would I? I can't. It's too much of a good thing, but everyone knows there's no such thing as too much of a good thing. Lots of psychological insights, quick witted dialogue and exquisitely detailed mystery - how could you go wrong?Product details

Fantastic read, the kind you can't put down! Susan and her family are so much fun! This book will capture your interest on page one and get you fired up throughout! You start to feel like you are part of the family. the subject matter is spooky but only to a point, there is danger, humor and you begin to love them all, Susan, Max, Patricia and Jack.
I read the first book in this trilogy "The Witch" and was begging for more! Now here it is! Only wish Mr. Buckner could write faster! Can't wait for the next book! A must buy!
Jay has quite an agile mind with the twists and turns of the story. It is amusing; absorbing; fun to read and a fast read. If zany has a master, Jay is in the running for that title. Worth reading; hard to put down--so engaging as to keep reading in one sitting.
The story, as it deals with the daily nature of its characters also shows the absurdities of life. Yet in an other angle, it is clever in the construction of the crimes and the nature of the criminals. It also leaves the wistful sense of 'wouldn't it be nice if someone did accurately sense child abuse as Susan, the witch, Stanich does? Wouldn't it be nice if someone had the power used constructively to drive such criminals to confess at the police station on their own? Thus, lives are preserved.
Mr Buckner has a great imagination. His story includes, spookiness, humor, love and some deep thoughts. I could not read fast enough to find out what happens at the end. Hollywood better turn this into a movie. Buy this book.

An exciting fun read. Fast paced mystery with a bit of a twist. We anticipate the 3rd volume in the trilogy where the character of Susan (Mom, Wife Witch) will have even more depth and complexity.
Just as good as the first book I read by Mr Buckner. Awesome mind he has,makes me believe in witches. A must read for the inquisitive and open mind.
